Bridgeport, CT – July 11, 2004 – The Bridgeport Bluefish lost a twelve-inning showdown against the Long Island Ducks, 1-0, in front of 4,351 fans at the  Ballpark at Harbor Yard. 

The game remained scoreless through eleven innings, with both teams unable to  capitalize on bases loaded two outs situations.  Doug Jennings hit an RBI single to left field to score Kimera Bartee to break the tie and put the Ducks  =ahead 1-0 in the top of the twelfth inning. 

Bridgeport starter Stevenson Agosto pitched seven innings for the Bluefish holding the Ducks scoreless on three hits while striking out seven.  Brian Langen, Richard Bell and Blake Williams made relief appearances for the ‘Fish.
